Dear Colleagues (university employees: facultystaff and other members) and university students! We are three researchers (University of Gävle), Uppsala University, Mälardalen University) who have started an international research study on Coping with Covid-19. The study is part of a larger international survey, in about ten countries. The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged us all concerning different aspects of our life and brought about a global crisis. By filling in the below survey you help us to understand the way different groups of people handle / cope with different problems which this crisis has caused; it will help us and other researchers to develop psychological support strategies to cope with the consequences the pandemic can have on mental health and wellbeing. YOU can be a part of the solution! https://sunet.artologik.net/hig/Survey/7825   The survey should take no more than 15 minutes.️ It would also be great if you could share it with your colleagues/friends who are university employees, lecturers, and also university students in Sweden and other countries.   The study is conducted by an international team of researchers from the different countries. The study is approved by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (Etiksprövningsmyndigheten), Dnr. 2020-02368. About the study: Each question says something about a particular way of dealing with the situation; these ways are called coping methods. We want to know to what extent you have used these coping methods. Please use response options. In this questionnaire whenever we use the word spirituality, we refer also to that kind of spirituality, which is NOT necessarily related to religiosity. The questions deal with your experiences and shouldn’t result in any uncomfortable situation or risks for you. Your answers to the survey will be saved at the repository of University of Gävle, which is password protected. Only the researchers have access to the material, which is preserved for 10 years. We follow the GDPR directives (EU 2016/679). We will present the results of the study on group and thematic levels only, in scientific publications. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the head of the study, Fereshteh Ahmadi, full professor of sociology at the University of Gävle, Sweden at [email protected].   Fereshteh Ahmadi Full professor in sociology Faculty of Health and Occupational studiesUniversity of Gävle, Sweden - www.hig.se/faw Phone number: +46707171907   Anders Önver Cetrez Associate professor in Psychology of Religion Faculty of Theology, Uppsala University, Sweden   Sharareh Akhavan Associate professor in Public Health, Mälardalen University, The National Board of Health and Welfare, Sweden
